CouponPip

A clear approach.

What CouponPip does today, and how we plan to approach affiliate partnerships in the future.

Updated 2026-10-23

What happens today

CouponPip tests coupon codes at supported checkouts and applies the valid code with the largest actual discount among those tested.

CouponPip currently does not automatically apply affiliate links.

This statement is specifically about automatic affiliate-link application. It should not be read as a separate claim about every possible coupon code, cookie, network request or data practice.

What is planned

Affiliate links may be introduced in a future release. The plan is to use a merchant allowlist and avoid applying our affiliate link when a shopper has previously followed another affiliate link.

These are development plans, not features represented as already live. Any introduction of affiliate behavior will be disclosed before that behavior goes live.

How affiliate links work

An affiliate link can attribute an eligible purchase to a publisher, who may receive a commission from a merchant or network. A previous affiliate referral may belong to a creator, website or other publisher.

Our planned approach is intended to respect that prior referral. Implementation details and limitations will need to be explained with any affiliate release.

Benefits and user choice

Any future implementation will need to provide a clear, direct user benefit, disclose the affiliate relationship, and require a related user action before affiliate attribution is added, consistent with Chrome Web Store requirements.

CouponPip’s purpose remains testing coupon codes and selecting the largest actual discount among those tested.
